Every product carries its manufacturer warranty. We route your claim and chase it until it closes.

Every product we sell carries its manufacturer’s warranty. The term is shown on each product page, taken from that manufacturer’s own specification sheet. We do not invent warranty terms and we do not offer our own on top.

Making a claim

Email sales@latchfordhardware.com with the order number, the part, and what is happening. We route the claim to the manufacturer and chase it until it closes. You do not have to work out who to call.

What warranties cover

Manufacturer warranties cover commercial products used normally in a commercial setting. They do not cover abuse, damage, improper installation, or hardware that has been modified.

Installation and code

We sell components. Whether an installation meets fire, egress or accessibility code in your building is decided by your Authority Having Jurisdiction. We will tell you what a product is listed for and what its specification sheet says. We are not code consultants and the AHJ makes the final call.
