How to choose

What actually decides the part number

Width and profileThresholds are cut to the opening width. A saddle threshold bridges a floor change with a bevel on each side, and a taller profile suits a larger gap under the door.
Height on an accessible routeAn accessible route limits how tall a threshold can be and requires a bevel above a small vertical change. The limit comes from the accessibility standard the building follows. We sell listed hardware and confirm the specification in writing. Door bottoms and sweepsA sweep mounts on the face of the door. An automatic door bottom drops a seal when the door closes and lifts it when the door opens, which suits a floor with no threshold.
GasketingPerimeter gasketing seals the frame stop against draught, light, sound or smoke. On a fire or smoke rated opening the gasketing has to be listed for that door.
